The New Year just kicked off with its diet regimes and resolutions. I was talking to some of our clients this week mentioning that if your intention is dropping some unwanted body fat and extra calories gained during the festive season start developing healthy habits and give time to your body to get used to the changes. Furthermore, reducing the extreme amount of carbohydrates in your diet is a key.
Why no to try this lovely low calories salad to get started? Enjoy and get moving!
Turkey Fennel Salad
Ingredients
1/2 cup cooked turkey, sliced
1/4 cup fennel, thin sliced
1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
2 tbsp light mayonnaise
1/4 tsp pepper
a squeeze of lime
Chop some herbs of your preference to add flavor ( parsley, coriander or thyme)
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients together and enjoy it.
