Linda is one of those special trainers who seems to just get you. She knows when to push me, when to encourage me and when to mix things up. Her knowledge of how the body works is really impressive and she immediately recognised the parts of my body that were weak and needed strengthening. Under her direction, a tiny tweak can make a huge difference to the muscles I’m using and it’s changed the way I work out. I like the way she uses the equipment in unique ways to vary the workouts and keep them interesting. My hours at works are all over the place so Linda has been flexible, working around my schedule. She’s kept me motivated to keep fit and strong and I’ve seen real changes when I follow her instructions. She really cares about her clients and she’s always willing to tailor sessions just for me. I always look forward to an hour in the gym to switch off from work, focus on Linda’s direction and get in a good work out.

I have trained on and off over the years and was in reasonable shape but decided I wanted to up my game, get leaner and pack on some more muscle. I was looking for the right PT to take me to the next level and a good friend recommended Marcio. She had seen excellent results herself and suggested I make contact.

There’s certainly a lot of PT’s out there to choose from – some of them not in the best of shape themselves. I was only prepared to work with someone who looked the part and inspired and motivated me. I wouldn’t feel happy spending my hard earned money on anyone that didn’t.

After major reconstructive surgery on my knee I was informed by my surgeon that my running days were over and my ability to do even the lightest exercise would be drastically limited. As an active person I was distraught. Following my surgery it took me twelve weeks to even be able to stand unaided. Walking was virtually impossible. In my frustration I was told to hire a rehabilitation trainer. ( Marcio ) and keep physoterapy check ups constantly updated with the hope that I will be able to walk without a limp someday.
Marcio worked tirelessly with me- working on my balance, my posture and my fitness. There were times I didn’t understand why he was making me step up and down on a bosu ball, or stand on one leg after the other. But incredibly, over the course of a year, I not only recovered but my leg became stronger than ever before. Now I run about 40km a week and am in better shape than I’ve ever been in my life. Apart from the small, fading scar, no one would ever know that I hadsuch major surgery on my leg. I approached Linda in January 2010 as I had just signed-up to take part in my first Triathlon, at Olympic Distance!
Having not been particularly into sports since leaving education and having joined numerous gyms for short periods of time before cancelling my membership, I was naturally worried about the prospect of getting fit enough to complete the gruelling Triathlon distance 7 months down the line!
Linda assessed my fitness and planned a strategy to get me ready for the event. We approached the challenge by working on core and cardio fitness as well as concentrating on flexibility and strength in all muscle groups. She put a weekly plan together that developed as my fitness levels improved and so did my confidence. By the time the triathlon came I was not longer worried about getting round the course, I wanted to get round in a good time!
Linda now helps me on general fitness and toning but I would recommend her highly regardless of your level of fitness or your goals. Whether you simply want to get fit, or if you are focusing on an elite event. Linda won’t let you down!
